Land Use Poster Contest

Topic: ‘What Land Use Means to Me:
My Past, Present, and Future.’

Category A: 3rd through 5th Grade
Category B: 6th through 8th Grade

1st through 3rd place will be awarded in each category

Entry Process
1. Open to any Appoquinimink School District 3rd through 8th grade students that submit a poster on the topic provided above.
2. Posters must not exceed 25 inches by 35 inches, can be three-dimensional, computer-generated, hand-drawn, or painted.
3. The back of the poster must include the entrant’s name, category to be judged in, school name, and grade level.
4. Entrant must include the entry form as the cover sheet.
5. Posters should be delivered at the address below.
6. All entrants will be displayed and winning entrants will be announced at the Appoquinimink Education Fair at Appoquinimink High School on Saturday, May 17, 2008.

Evaluation Criteria
Relationship to topic, creativity, use of materials, and expressiveness
